Research Interest
My overall research interests are the safety and sustainability of food production. I am particularly interested in learning about bioactive compounds from animal and plant sources for active food packaging and functional food, in which these applications deal with appropriate methods of extracting bioactive compounds, incorporating them into their carriers, and exhibiting the great advances in this area. The latter includes the use of nanotechnology.
